I close my eyes
just to see a hint of you smiling
looking at me with your devoted eyes
and stretching out your hands
to welcome me.

I'm going to miss you
these last words you told me
take me back to memories of us
time and time again.

You took me to Heaven
holding me tightly in your arms
my spirit calls your name
hoping there could still be a way for us
to be forever and beyond that.

I loved you and I still love you
I saved this message to my book
just to read it again
when all the colours seem to fade.
