Fate, Hallelujah

Mood: Amused ( By Charlaine Harris's Club Dead )

Listening to: Hallelujah ( By Justin Timberlake, Leonard Cohen)

I thought my next post would be something about white lies or dreams. My lack of desire to start writing just took me always somewhere else when it was a good time to start. And right now I have no intention at all to write about either of them..

Two days ago my niece had her spring festival and that was her last at elementary school. There were a lot of songs performed mostly by the first graders and the leaving sixth greaders. One of those songs were Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. It seemed like an act of fate. That's one of my and my sister's favorite songs. She loves when I sing it to her time to time and it is also the song I sung on my audition. This has made me think alot about fate or do things happen just by accident.

I have found through out the passed years that every bad and good thing has had some meaning later on in my life. Let it be the years of being bullied which have made me stronger and more humble towards other people or not being accepted in schools before now, when I applied to study the thing I have dreamd of doing for long..
4 years ago I made a decision and backed my backs and went to study drama for a year. I and all the other studenst of different subjects lived in 3 different halls of residence. From there I found my best friends, without that I would have never applied to a school in a foreign country. I can't image my life without that period of time. The thing is, if we work hard we can make our dreams come true...but sometimes just sheer dumb luck helps us a lot on the way.

Many people have said to me that I'm strong. I don't feel like that. It's my friends and family who are strong. They got my back, physically, mentally. But could any of us be strong without someone backing us up? Be it a friend, sister ,mother, God ? Without knowing we're all making someone strong. Without any hint at all the actions we make are infecting our and the lifes of others.
It could be a celebrity whose words can make fans belive in better tomorrow, to be brave and have the courage to pursue their dreams, it could be someone walking past us with a smile that can lit our souls, it could be you.

" Maybe I have been here before,
I know this room; I have walked this floor,
I used to live alone before I knew you

I've seen your flag on the marble arch,
love is not a victory march, it's a cold and its a broken Hallelujah"
