Oddest Thing


Ocean within
people never
ever look twice
they can't see inside
nor outside.
Ghosts of past, present, future
memories, not quite accurate
realize shall I ever which is mine.
Can they identify my shell
my empty shell
crowded with motionless words.
People think they know so much
when they know nothing
and the oddest thing of all:
we're all hiding behind masks
unable to understand
others are wearing them too.
